Luis Teixeira
After completing a small business management diploma Luis worked in family businesses developing his skills mostly in the retail industry (FMCG), later becoming a regional manager for a franchise company, where he managed 23 stores.
A passion for online marketing led to Luis quitting his job and taking up a full time mentorship under industry veteran Justin Harrison and over a 4 year period immersed himself in learning and setting up his own online businesses.
As an IMU member Luis brings with him an unmatched drive and passion for the online space, as well as a unique ability to market and sell online ideas offline, which is why he is our number one merchant liaison. Known to be slick with the chirps, he can entertain like no other and is always the life of the party, but don’t be fooled even during down time he’s uploading business ideas.
Q & A – What motivates you?
That one never knows how far one will go to get what you want. Life is a constant challenge and I love to challenge myself everyday to greater heights. To make a real difference on this earth and leave a legacy behind that would make other people take up the challenge and better it.
Q & A – What do you love about doing business online?
There are many reasons as to why I love doing business online. But the most notable ones are, starting new exciting projects and testing the hell out of them till you get it right. The sheer excitement of seeing small changes that yield huge returns. But what this online business has taught me that no money can ever buy and that is having faith, patience and sheer determination in yourself.
